  1. Fantastic video. Love Youtube and Neil Barnard. Vegan since 2018!

  2. Excellent questions asked. Thanks much! Thanks Dr. Neal!

  3. Love Dr. Barnard. Learned so much from his books and interviews. My hero.

  4. Love Happy 🐄 Cow and Neal Barnard. Vegan 10 years. 💗🐰

  5. Jesus, I love how all these plant based experts walk the walk. You don't see fat plant based experts and doctors. They all believe in what they teach and they live it. Unlike the "keto" and Atkins gurus who are flabby and have double chins and pot bellies. Dr. Barnard is probably the hottest of all the plant based doctors. Goldhamer's up there too on the hot scale.

  6. Vegan for 15 years – not the healthiest solution for everyone and we need good fats and that includes extra virgin olive oil. Bad practice to tell people good fats are bad.

  7. Thanks for the video great information !

  8. I love dr Barnard's body language. He is actively restraining his hand/arm movements and making a conscious effort to look into the camera. Note how there is virtually no movement above elbow area (well, some – but taking it to extremes would dehumanise him).
He angles his torso to make the most of his shoulders, and his suit enhances his nice form because it fits perfectly and the fabric looks as if it is good quality. Clearly a man who knows what works on TV.
He is also explaining things in a very friendly and inviting, simple and straight forward, positive way 😊 Note how he speaks continuously until his answer is complete, and then pauses very clearly and looks at the interviewer. He is the video editing team's dream! His answers are concise and complete and can not be torn apart due to the flow in his speech, thereby minimising the risk of things being taken out of context. He doesn't get sidetracked by accident. He is clearly not the "absent-minded professor".
And his voice: There is no eagerness to bring people over to his way of thinking – simply good advice from an old friend. And that is so seductive. Brilliant.

  9. Other Dr.s say it's Wheat causing the Allergies.

  10. I had terrible cat allergies all my life, my eyes would swell, itch and run like a tap and my airways would close up to the point that I couldn't even breathe through my nose. 2 years on a whole food plant based diet and I haven't had the problem once since! And I now have a pet cat!! 😀

  11. PERSONALLY I THANK YOU FOR THESE PRESCRIPTIONS FOR GOOD TO REMAIN HEALTHY. THOUGH FROM LAST 4 YRS I CHANGED TO VEGAN DIET DUE TO WHICH I LOST SOME MUSCLE MASS EVEN I MOSTLY EAT CEREALS GRAINS PLZ WRITE WT CAN BE DONE TO IMPROVE MY MUSCLE MASS.

  12. Dr. Barnard said at 2:55 that carbs are fuel for the brain, but I just watched a video preaching that ketones are the most efficient fuel for the brain (look up Today I Found Out, Ketosis Misconception). I'm so confused right now 🙃

  13. i like Barnard's that word for oil 'LOW' but not 'NO'. think about this thing: how much oil,eg olive oil , intake a day isnt significant harmful at all.

  14. I think sugar and oil are bad, but salt is OK.

  15. Give it time. I've been a "vegitarian" for many years but only sos and gluten free for a few months. Joints are better, sinus problems are better and the big one. or two big ones are that my thyroid tests normal. First time in years and, the depression (knock on wood) is staying away. I'm very nervous about that one but most days, I don't even think about it. I eat all kinds of non gluten grains so I don't feel I'm missing anything. Dr. Barnard didn't mention gluten but, it's the most recent change for me and is a dramatic change. The only thing hanging on is the Dermatitis from the gluten but, it's better. I'm trying to be patient. Thank you so much, Dr. Barnard and your colleagues.

  16. They almost have the same voice…

  17. Happy Cow ARE BLOODY AWESOME and I want to marry Dr Neal Barnard in another life, what an amazing man! Great video!

  18. 90% of vegans have the strength of a 12 year old girl and the vitality and complexion of a 90yr old… look at the two dudes in the video… they look like corpses. The interviewer literally looks like Count Dracula or an Adam's family extra.

  19. 0:12 After seeing that photo for 1 second I'm drooling. The real problem is that we do not produce our own food anymore. Like nuts, if you had to crack each nut you would not overeat them. I like the fact that he realizes that cats are dangerous to your health.

  20. For some parts, it was like listerning freelee the banana girl

  21. Great Interview By Ken, great to the point questions. I wish I had heard of Neal Barnard when I was a child! Everyone should know who this man is and the facts he has on plant based diets and the effects on everything in our lives! He's such a Genius and should be praised more than any pop star!

  22. Nice video, but a bit light on the SOS-free tips!
