  1. Those fruits you mentioned are high in the Glycemic Index. One who has diabetes or pre-diabetic will be told not to eat or juice because it will spike their sugar levels. For Diabetics, the fruits they can have is Pear, Strawberry, peach, grapefruit, plum, cherry and apple. I think as long as you use everything in moderation you should be okay. Good Luck

  2. I've actually done this recipe but used rice milk, cinnamon, strawberry juice, and swerve sweetner. Came out DELISH!

    But, now I'm allergic to rice. 🙁 So Coconut milk is a great option! I get my coconut milk from the Asian Markets, they have the thickest ones. 🙂

  4. Did I just miss the mention of how much cinnamon? I was thinking maybe leave the cinnamon out and add some crushed pineapple for a pina coloda type flavor.

  8. Drew, in your interview with JJ Virgin, she indicated that bananas, pineapples, grapes, apples, oranges, dry fruits, etc were basically candy. Is that that your opinion as well? I don't believe they spike your pancreas the same way as refined sugar, but maybe I am wrong. Juicing is relatively new for me, so I would like to know.
