This healthy, nutritious oatmeal recipe is packed with fiber, protein ,and lots of other vitamins and minerals. This breakfast keeps me full for hours, its great if your trying to lose weight. The dates are just the right touch of natural sugar to sweeten up the oatmeal. The bananas , fresh strawberries and blueberries add a burst of flavor and texture. I hope you try and like this recipe.
You will Need…
1/2 Plain rolled Oats
2/3 cup of Water
2 pitted and chopped Dates
1 tsp ground flax seed or powder
1/2 ripe banana
1/2 cup fresh fruit ( I use strawberries, blueberries or blackberries)
Boil Oats, Dates, Flax powder for a couple of minutes
Once the oatmeal has thickened to your liking, serve in a bowl and top with fresh fruit and enjoy!
